Letter from Mum & Dad

Teresa was born on 23th April 1974, weighing only 5lbs, a very tiny baby but soon started putting on weight and was ready to come home. She had beautiful sparkling eyes and cherub lips, always giving hugs and kisses to everybody.

Teresa attended school and made many friends, sadly she had some problems with bullying because she stood up for the underdog, and then suffered for it. Thankfully she got through and I think it made her a very understanding young lady.

When Teresa went off with her friends they always asked her to navigate as she had a very excellent sense of direction.

She met Dylan and they set up home together and after two years they had a baby daughter, Keira. Sadly she was diagnosed with the condition called Agenesis Corpus Callosum which affects mobility and she needs 24/7 care.

There were quite a few dark days after Keira's diagnoses and then Teresa started getting all the help she could find to ensure that Keira progressed and led as normal life as she could. The medical and physical needs were constantly on Teresa's mind and she worked very hard to meet them.

Our daughter was a beautiful person, in and out, and we loved her very much. We were so very proud of her achievements with Keira.

Sadly Teresa passed away on 23rd January 2017 and we miss her very much. She has left a very big hole in our lives, not having her phone calls every day, to talk to and hear Keira's latest update.

We are so proud of our daughter and our love for her will never leave us.

All our love, Mum & Dad.
