Dedicated to the memory of Teresa Thomas

Teresa and I met through mutual friends and after what was probably over a year I finally got the courage up to ask her out. We went out with each other for over a year and then after a short break in our relationship we got back together and as they say, the rest is history. We moved in together and after a short while Teresa became pregnant and made me the proudest person as she gave me her most precious gift, a daughter, who we both adored with every breath in our bodies. When Kiera was around 12 months old I took Teresa away to Portmeirion in North Wales and whilst walking along one of the costal paths on the edge of a cliff I got down on one knee and asked her to become my wife. Luckily she said yes meaning I didn't have to push her over the edge (we laughed about that many times after!). A couple of years later she became Mrs Teresa Thomas and made me so proud and happy that she had become my wife and mother to my daughter. Teresa was the best mum Kiera could have ever wished for and from the day she was born, Kiera was her world and she fought every day to look after her and help her in every way she could from getting equipment to taking her to her many appointments. We miss Teresa every single day and as Kiera grows up I will keep the memory of her special mum and my wife in our hearts and in our minds forever. With the help of so many people and especially Hope House we are learning to cope with losing Teresa and being able to have a walk to raise money in her honour is wonderful - she would have been so proud. Forever in our hearts and always in our thoughts you will be missed more than you will ever know, loves and kisses, Kiki and Dylan xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
